WINCHENDON – Donna L. (Tenney) Michaud, 56, of 32 Doyle Avenue, Winchendon, died peacefully Thursday morning, December 12th in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, University Campus, Worcester, with her family at her side.
She was born in Winchendon on January 10, 1957, daughter of the late Frederick Tenney and Mary (O’Malley) Tenney Dumont of Ellenton Florida, and was a lifelong resident of Winchendon.
Donna worked as a clerk at the former Brooks Pharmacy for several years. She previously worked as a cafeteria worker at The Winchendon School. A graduate of Montachuett Regional Vocational Technical School, she received her Associates Degree in Business from Mt. Wachusett Community College, Gardner. Donna was a member of Lt. Frederick Wilder White Post 2158 VFW Auxiliary. Her hobbies were cooking, singing, dancing and camping. A particular joy was watching fireworks at the Fourth of July. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and her dog “Lucy.” A breast cancer survivor, Donna will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, daughter, grandmother and sister.
In addition to her mother, she leaves her husband of 36 years, Andre S. “Scott” Michaud; her children, Tara B. Beaudoin and her fiancé Jason Walton of Ashburnham, Carissa J. Michaud and her husband James Harwood of Long Boat Key, FL, Marlena E. Michaud and her fiancé Justin Bujnowski of New Ipswich, NH and Seth E. Michaud of Ashburnham; three sisters, Cindy May of Ellenton, FL, Karen Denehy of St. Petersburg, FL and Terri Ann Gouslin of Winchendon; a brother, Anthony Tenney of Winchendon; four grandchildren, Collin, Cameron, Justin Jr. “JJ” and Andre; a stepfather, Ronald Dumont of Ellenton, FL; four stepbrothers, Dario, Gary, Richard and Mark Uguccioni and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. A daughter, Pamela Michaud and a brother Frederick Tenney Jr., predeceased her.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 18th at 10 A.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. The Rev. Francis A. Roberge will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
Calling hours in the funeral home will be Tuesday, December 17th from 6 to 8 P.M.
