Adeline R. Hollister

WINCHENDON - Adeline R. (Richards) Hollister, 93, of 450 School Street, died Sunday, July 17th in the Highlands, Fitchburg, following an illness. She was born in Winchendon on May 20,1912, the daughter of Henry and Alma (Duval) Richards and was a lifelong resident of Winchendon. She enjoyed sewing and playing cards. Her husband of 45 years, Henry S. Hollister, died in 1982. Mrs. Hollister leaves two sons, David H. Hollister of Winchendon and Brian R. Hollister of Summerville, SC; a daughter, Ann M. Sawtelle of Winchendon; eight grandchildren; many great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, July 26th at 1:30 P.M. in Riverside Cemetery. The Rev. F. Calvin Miller, pastor of the United Parish, will officiate. A gathering will be held following the service at the United Parish, 39 Front Street, Winchendon. There are no calling hours.
