RINDGE, NH - Adrienne L. (Dupuis) Hudson, 96, of 2 Todd Hill Road, died peacefully Wednesday, August 9, 2017 at her residence, with her family at her side.
She was born in New Bedford, MA on September 13, 1920, daughter of the late Joseph P. and Eleanor (Lambert) Dupuis and had lived in Rindge for almost 30 years.
Adrienne was a 1938 graduate of Fitchburg High School and Burbank Hospital School of Nursing. She became a registered nurse in 1942 had worked for many years at a variety of hospitals, including Leominster Hospital and Burbank Hospital. She served as Town Treasurer of the Town of Rindge for twelve years and was named as the Town of Rindge Citizen of the Year in 1995. Adrienne was a former treasurer of Rindge Woman's Club and chairman of its Operation Santa for ten years. She attended the First Congregational Church. She had been active many years ago with the Lake Monomonac Sailing Association and always enjoyed playing bridge, tending to her flowers and vegetable gardening.
Her husband of 61 years, Robert C. Hudson, died in 2004. She leaves three children, Robert C. Hudson Jr and his wife Cindy of Leominster, Jeffrey D. Hudson and his wife Bettyann of Leominster and Lynda Kuhn and her husband Edward of West Reading, PA; thirteen grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 2 P.M. in First Congregational Church, Rindge Common. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery.
