WINCHENDON – Alan R. Moore, 63, of 20 Poland Avenue, died peacefully at his home, Thursday, March 15th, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born in Somerville, MA on May 23, 1948, son of the late Arthur R. and Mary A. (Fiore) Moore and lived in Taunton for 25 years before moving to Winchendon four years ago.
Alan loved to sing and dance. He also enjoyed music and watching TV, especially dinosaur and horror movies.
He leaves a sister, Deborah A. Moore-Percival and her husband Richard of Winchendon, with whom he lived; three nephews, Michael Percival, Mark Percival and Christopher Percival, also of Winchendon; one aunt, Janet Ann Alberti of Franklin; one uncle, Ronald Moore of Georgetown, as well as many cousins.
Funeral services will be held Friday, March 23rd at 12 Noon in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. A calling hour will precede the funeral service from 11 AM to Noon.
Burial will be in the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon.
