Alberta J. Methe

WINCHENDON – Alberta J. (Fisher) Methe, 85, of Winchendon, died peacefully Sunday evening, December 18, 2022 in Wachusett Manor Nursing Home, Gardner, with her family at her side.

She was born in Winchendon on August 1, 1937, daughter of the late Henry J. and Christine M. (Calkins) Fisher and attended Winchendon schools. 

Alberta worked for many years an inspector at New Hampshire Ball Bearings until her retirement in 1999.  She enjoyed playing computer games with her family and also loved cats and birds.

She leaves her children, Nick Methe of Fitzwilliam, NH; Deborrah L. Diamantopoulos of Pt. Charlotte, FL, Brenda L. Russell of Winchendon and Deanna M. Steeves of Billerica; two brothers, Austin Fisher of Winchendon and Bryon Fisher of Jaffrey, NH; two sisters, Lorraine St. Pierre of Winchendon and Patricia Rutka of Jaffrey, NH; five grandchildren; one great grandson and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Smith of Fitzwilliam, NH.

Calling hours will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 2 to 4 P.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon.
