TEMPLETON - Albert W. Mignault, 71, of 16 Pheasant Lane Templeton, died peacefully Saturday evening, March 20th, at his residence, after a courageous battle with cancer. He spent his final days at home, surrounded by friends and loved ones. He was born in Hingham, MA. on October 21, 1938, the son of the late Albert and Myrtle (Sullivan) Mignault and had lived 16 years at his residence. He retired in 2007, after many years working at Templeton Developmental Center, where he enjoyed filling the coke machines. Albert was a loving man with a wonderful sense of humor, who brightened the day of everyone, who knew him. John Wayne, the actor, was his idol. He was known for his good sense of humor and enjoyed going out to dinner, country music, baseball and attending St. Vincent de Paul Church in Baldwinville. He leaves four special friends, Kenneth LaChance, Duncan Peirce, Jack Corrigan and Paul Hanley, all of Templeton, and many others, whose lives he touched. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his good friend, Ed Ducey. He will be sadly missed, but happily remembered by everyone, who was fortunate enough to know him. A Celebration of His Life will be held Thursday, March 25th at 11 A.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. The Rev. Rev. Francis A. Roberge will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery Templeton. Calling hours in the funeral home will be held Thursday, March 25th from 10 to 11 A.M., preceding the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Myelodysplastic Syndrome Foundation, PO Box 353, Front Street, Crosswicks, NJ 08515 or to Heywood Hospital Oncology Department, 242 Green Street, Gardner, MA. 01440. www.stone-ladeau.com
