WINCHENDON – Annabelle P. (Plouffe) Bulger, 93, of 16 Royalston Road North, Winchendon, died peacefully Tuesday afternoon, October 1st at her residence, with her family at her side.
She was born in Winchendon on July 13, 1920, daughter of the late Wilfred and Clorinda (LaFond) Plouffe and was a lifelong resident of Winchendon.
Annabelle enjoyed taking care of children and provided child care for many children. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and enjoyed gardening. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family.
Her husband of 65 years, Joseph P. Bulger Sr, died in 2002. She leaves a son, Joseph P. Bulger Jr and his wife Mary of Winchendon, Loretta Charlonne and her husband Francis of Winchendon and Katherine Hardy and her husband William of Lunenburg; eight grandchildren, Dawn Luhtjarv and her husband Endell, Dianna LaPlante and her husband John, William Charlonne and his wife Kelley, Wendy Latino and her husband Tony, William Hardy, Bernadette Drouin and her husband Craig, Patricia Bulger and Joseph Bulger III and his wife April; 16 great grandchildren, including Sarah Baker for whom she cared for; two great great grandchildren; a brother, Clifford Plouffe and a sister, Dorothy Bosworth as well as many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters, Alfred Plouffe, Walter Plouffe, Raymond Plouffe, Albert Plouffe, Flora Courchene, Delma LaPlante, Clara Plouffe and Marion Woods.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, October 5th at 10 A.M. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 52 Spruce Street, Winchendon. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
Calling hours in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon are Friday, October 4th from 6 to 8 P.M.
