WINCHENDON - Antoinette J. Plante, 81, of 134 Goodrich Street, Winchendon, died Thursday, May 25th in the Leo P. LaChance Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, Gardner. She was born in Winchendon on June 25,1924, the oldest child of George E. and Josephine (Girouard) Plante and was a lifelong resident of Winchendon. Antoinette worked as a sander at the former Temple Stuart Furniture Company in Baldwinville until her retirement. Previously, she worked in area furniture and toy companies. She was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. She leaves her brothers and sisters, Arthur G. Plante of Winchendon, Anita F. Duplease of Winchendon, Florence T. Plante of Winchendon, Walter A. Plante of Winchendon, Claire J. Johnson of Winchendon, Francis E. Plante of Winchendon, Eugene P. Plante of Winchendon, Maurice Z. Plante of Winchendon, Alice E. Tousignant of Winchendon and Beatrice M. Morgan of Danvers, as well as many nephews, nieces, great-nephews and great-nieces. Her funeral will be held Tuesday, May 30th from the Snow-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 52 Spruce Street. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours in the funeral home will be Monday, May 29th from 6 to 8 P.M.
