Ardis A. (Young) Larochelle

RINDGE, NH - Ardis A. (Young) Larochelle, 90, of Main Street, Rindge, NH, died peacefully Wednesday evening, November 3rd, in Monadnock Community Hospital, Peterborough, NH. She was born in Ashburnham, MA on March 8, 1920, the daughter of the late Elisha C. and Annie (Miller) Young and lived in Rindge for most of her life. Ardis was employed as an inspector at WW. Cross Jaffrey, NH for several years until her retirement. She previously had worked at the former White Brothers Mills in Winchendon. She enjoyed bowling and previously belonged to area bowling leagues. Ardis enjoyed traveling to Pennsylvania and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. She was the wife of the late of Louis Larochelle. She is survived by two grandsons, Daniel Charlonne Sr, of Jaffrey, NH and Kenneth Charlonne, Jr., of San Diego, CA; a brother Walter Young, of Keene, NH; a sister Eileen Sellars, of Rindge, NH; great grandchildren Daniel Charlonne Jr, Kayleigh May Charlonne, Harley James Charlonne and Aileen Judith Charlonne, a step granddaughter Carissa Rice, a step great granddaughter Hayleigh Lacroix, as well as several great great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Her daughter, Judith May Charlonne; her son, John Chesley Jr, and two brothers, Warren Young and Elisha Young, predeceased her. Graveside Services will be held Monday, November 8th at 11 A.M. in Hillside Cemetery, Rindge, NH. The Rev. Stephanie Flynn will officiate. There are no calling hours.
