Arline L. (Ashmore) Patterson

WINCHENDON - Arline L. (Ashmore) Patterson, 87, of 41 Ash Street, Winchendon, died Tuesday, May 2nd in the Leo P. LaChance Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, Gardner, following an illness. She was born in Fitzwilliam, New Hampshire on October 6,1918, the daughter of Quinn C. and Eva M. (Rouleau) Ashmore and had resided in Winchendon for most of her life. Her husband of 46 years, James E. "Pat" Patterson, died in 1986. Arline was a graduate of Murdock High School with the Class of 1937. She was an assembler at C.R. Bard Co. in Fitzwilliam before her retirement. She was formerly employed at the former Winchendon Fashions for many years. She was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. She was once an avid bowler and enjoyed sewing and knitting. Arline leaves a brother, Arthur R. Ashmore of Scottsdale, Arizona; two sisters, Yvonne L. Page and Carole A. Morse, both of Winchendon, and several nieces and nephews, including a special nephew, William F. Grasmuck, Jr. A mass will be celebrated on Tuesday. May 16th at 8 A.M. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 52 Spruce Street. There are no calling hours. Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery.
