Audrey L. (Gauthier) Lafreniere

WINCHENDON – Audrey L. (Gauthier) Lafreniere, 75, of 6 Robbins Road, Winchendon, died peacefully Friday evening, March 14th in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, Worcester, with her family by her side.
She was born in Winchendon on January 2, 1939, the daughter of the late Arthur J and Frances (Burger) Gauthier and was a lifelong resident of Winchendon
Audrey enjoyed her family and spent many hours crocheting with her sister Larise. Her husband of 41 years, Walter Lafreniere, died in 2000.
She leaves eight children, Carla Rodenizer and her husband Bob of Fitchburg, Walter Lafreniere Jr and his wife Paige of Florida, Richard Lafreniere and his wife Cindy of Maine, Michael Lafreniere and his wife Kelly of Winchendon, Gary Lafreniere and his wife Julie of Maine, Dorothy Medina and her husband Raymond of Jaffrey, NH, Lisa Hawkins and her husband Leroy of Westminster and Scott Lafreniere of Winchendon; her sisters, Larise Cloutier of Winchendon and Jeannette Morlock of Athol and a brother Charles Gauthier of Ohio. She was the proud grandmother of 33 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. A son, Glenn Gauthier, died in 2004. Her brothers and sisters, Arthur Gauthier, Fremont Gauthier, George Gauthier, Dorothy Gauthier, James Gauthier, Rene Gauthier and Wayne Gauthier also predeceased her.
Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
