Barbara Violet Nicholson 

Born Feb 21st 1961 passed away January 28th 2025 suddenly due to a short sickness with her family surrounding her.

Barbara graduated with her GED from Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School. A hard working single mother working for many years at different companies such as Busy Hands, H&R 1871 and TRW. Barbara leaves her daughter Ericka Nicholson, son James Nicholson and his wife Betty-Jane Nicholson, and daughter Heather Surprenant her Husband Kevin Surprenant. Her beloved grandchildren Mattheaw Nicholson, JR Nicholson, Milo-vaughn Nicholson, Maci Abare and Urijah Abare. Her siblings Maggie Godfrey and husband Scott Godfrey, brother George Nicholson and his wife Paula Nicholson, brother Albert Nicholson and his wife Karen Nicholson, brother Jimmy Nicholson his wife Cindy Nicholson, and many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. 

She was predeceased by her parents Milo Nicholson and Loretta Ruthburn, brothers Henry and Joseph Nicholson.

Barbara had many passions in addition to her family, a love for camping, fishing, crafts, and Bingo. Barbara is a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, auntie, great auntie and cherished by many more.

A celebration of life will be planned for the summer for her favorite time of year TBA.
