Barbara E. (Quinlisk) Goguen

GARDNER - Barbara E. (Quinlisk) Goguen, 84, of 125 Connors Street, Gardner, died unexpectedly Tuesday, October 21st at her residence. She was born in Baldwinville on August 10,1924, the daughter of Leon L. and Isabelle B. (Whitney) Quinlisk, Sr. and had lived in Gardner for 61 years. Barbara was an office worker at Temple Stuart Co. in Baldwinville until her retirement. She was a member of Our Lady of Holy Rosary Church, Gardner Golden Age Club and AARP. Barbara was a graduate of the former Templeton High School and had been a warden at Ward 1A in Gardner. She enjoyed going to Foxwoods. Her husband of 58 years, J. Henry Goguen, died in 2005. She leaves a son, Jeffrey P. Goguen and his wife Susan of Gardner; a daughter, Pamela A. Fredette of Chelsea, Michigan; a brother, Leon L. Quinlisk Jr. of East Templeton; a sister, Marilyn G. Arsenault of Baldwinville; six grandchildren, Erika Paradis, John and Tracy Goguen, Kurt, Kathy and Kelly Fredette; a great grandson, Cole Henry Paradis and several nephews and nieces. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, Ocotber 24th at 10 A.M. in Our Lady of Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Baldwinville. Calling hours in the Boucher Funeral Home, 110 Nichols Street, Gardner will be Friday, October 24th from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M. Memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Holy Rosary Church, 135 Nichols Street, Gardner, MA. 01440.
