Barbara J. (DuVerger) Pelto

WINCHENDON – Barbara J. (DuVerger) Pelto, 74, of 77B Hyde Park Drive, Winchendon, died peacefully Sunday evening, August 12th in Wachusett Manor Nursing Home, Gardner.
She was born in Montague City, MA on September 15, 1937, daughter of the late Lloyd F. and Margaret A. (Ratte) DuVerger and had lived in Winchendon for over 30 years.
Barbara worked as a decorator in the furniture industry. She worked at Nichols and Stone Furniture Co for many years and previously worked at Kammenstein Furniture Co. and Temple Stuart Furniture Co. She enjoyed traveling to Key West, Florida and New Orleans with her sister, Sandy and brother-in-law, Tom and also enjoyed visits from her brother, Bob. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family and granddaughters.
Barbara was predeceased by her husband, David Pelto. She leaves a son, Mark P. Demarest and his wife Amber of Templeton; two granddaughters, Page Demarest and Neve Demarest; two brothers, Robert DuVerger and his wife Maureen of Keene, NH and Douglas DuVerger of Gardner; one sister, Sandra Kelleher and her husband Thomas of Largo, Florida and several nephews and nieces.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, August 18th at 10 A.M. in the First Congregational Church at Old Centre, Winchendon. The Rev. Mark Bariloni will officiate.
Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Templeton.
Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon is directing arrangements.
