GARDNER – Beverly A. (Emond) Bushey, 81, of Gardner died peacefully at her residence Thursday evening, March 24, 2022, with her family at her side.
She was born in Websterville, VT on May 18, 1940, daughter of the late William and Dorothy (Santor) Emond and moved to Massachusetts at the age of eight. Beverly had been a resident of Gardner for most of her life.
Beverly worked as a licensed practical nurse at Heywood Hospital and Garso. She also did private duty nursing care. Beverly enjoyed making jewelry and quilting. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family. Beverly was a member of St. Martin’s Church, Otter River.
She leaves her husband of 61 years, Roy J. Bushey Sr.; two children, Rachel J. Duguay and her husband Michael of Gardner and Roy J. Bushey Jr of Gardner and Barbara Bushey of Gardner; a brother, Raymond J. Emond of Detroit, Michigan; five grandchildren, Jessica Hunt and husband Jim, Jason Bushey and wife Kendra, Kalli Duguay, Joshua Duguay and Lisa Zuppa and eight great-grandchildren, Kamryn, Genevieve, Kona, Knox, Kyra, Kwyn, Chace and Addison, and a daughter in law, Laura Bushey of CO. A son, Raymond J. Bushey, died in 1991.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, March 30, 2022 at 10 A.M. in St. Vincent de Paul Church, 1 Forest Street, Baldwinville. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery, Gardner.
Calling hours in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon are Tuesday, March 29, 2022 from 5 to 7 P.M.
