ATHOL - Brenda L.M. (Maliska) Boudreau, 50, of 547 Radcliffe Street, Athol, formerly of Winchendon, died peacefully Wednesday afternoon, December 1st in Quabbin Valley Healthcare, Athol, with her family at her side.
She was born in Winchendon on August 25, 1960, the daughter of Theresa M. (Bowler) Maliska of Winchendon and the late William J. Maliska, and had lived in Athol for 17 years.
Brenda was a Certified Life Success Consultant, a career, which was her passion in life. Interested in personal development, she found great satisfaction in improving the lives of others. In 1982, she graduated with an Associate's Degree in Business Administration from Mt. Wachusett Community College, where she also took additional courses. Before becoming a life consultant, she had worked a variety of jobs, mostly as an office manager and bookkeeping. She had worked at Franklin County Home Care Corporation in Turners Falls, F.W. Lombard Company in Ashburnham, Rural Housing in Winchendon, T.S. Mann Lumber Company in Orange, the Gardner News, Catamount Manufacturing in Orange, Sentinel and Enterprise in Fitchburg, Montachusett Opportunity Council in Fitchburg and Depot Distributors in Fitchburg. Brenda was a lover of animals and crafts. She found her greatest enjoyment from spending time with her family.
In addition to her mother, she leaves her husband of 17 years, Mark A. Boudreau; two sisters, Jean M. Thayer of Hudson, NH and Kathy Kilhart of Athol and several nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday, December 8th from 4 to 6 P.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon, followed by a funeral service at 6 P.M.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Athol Animal Control and Shelter, 450 Thrower Road, Athol, MA. 01331 or to Child Fund International, 2821 Emerywood Parkway, Richmond, VA 23294.
