Winchendon-Bruce David Marinelli, 71, died unexpectedly Sunday, May 15, 2022 at UMass Memorial Medical Center in Worcester.
He leaves his loving wife, Kathy E. (Young) Marinelli; one son, Selvino Marinelli of RI; one daughter, Korii Marinelli of Gardner; two stepsons, Nick Pioli of Winchendon and Jason Pioli of Gardner, one stepdaughter, Kara Pioli of Concord, NH; five grandchildren, Tyler Russell, Sarii Race, Brooklyn Marinelli, Brodie Marinelli and Becket Marinelli; his mother, Gloria (Lafortune) Preston of Winchendon; two brothers, Rick Marinelli of Winchendon and Jeff Marinelli of Hubbardston; one sister, Amy Marinelli of Winchendon; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was born in Winchendon on September 30, 1950, a son of the late Selvino A. Marinelli. He worked as a bartender and worked in construction. He enjoyed fishing, the ocean, hunting, golfing, gardening and woodworking. He was a little league children's coach in town and at one time president of The Winchendon Golf Course. His greatest love however was his wife, children and grandchildren.
He will be deeply missed by his wife, and all who knew and loved him.
His funeral services will be private.
The Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon, MA 01475 has been entrusted with Bruce’s funeral arrangements. A Celebration of Life after will be held following services at Chicks Tavern, 196 Pleasant Street Winchendon on Saturday May 21, 2022 at 12 o'clock , for family and friends.
