Caroline E. (LeBlanc) McPhee

WINCHENDON - Caroline E. (LeBlanc) McPhee, 82, of 45 Hale Street, Winchendon died peacefully Saturday morning, April 17th, in her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Roxbury on October 17,1927, the daughter of the late Alfred and Catherine (MacEachern) LeBlanc and had lived in Winchendon for 17 years. Caroline worked for over 20 years at Symmes Hospital in Arlington as Supervisor of Central Service until her retirement. She was a graduate of Boston Memorial High School. Before living in Winchendon, she lived in Arlington for many years and in Acton for 20 years. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and its Eucharistic Adoration. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family and grandchildren. She leaves her husband of 55 years, Henry J. McPhee; six children, Catherine Kasziewicz and her husband James of Washougal, WA, Mary Scesny and her husband David of Shirley, Therese Scesny and her fiance Don Graham of Trenton, ME, Cecilia Haigh and her husband Robert of Winchendon, Daniel McPhee of Winchendon and Carolyn D'Angelo and her husband Robert of Gardner; one brother, Joseph LeBlanc of Weymouth; one sister, Sister Cecilia LeBlanc of Vernon, Ct, 15 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 21st from Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 A.M. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 52 Spruce Street. Burial will be in the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon. Calling hours in the funeral home are Tuesday, April 20th from 6 to 8 P.M.
