Chad M. LaPointe

WINCHENDON – Chad M. LaPointe, 40, of Winchendon, died peacefully Sunday afternoon, December 19, 2021 in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, with his family at his side, from complications from COVID-19.

He was born in Leominster on July 10, 1981, son of Michael and Doreen (Murphy) LaPointe of Winchendon.  Chad was a 2000 graduate of Murdock High School, where he was a member of its baseball team and was goalie on its hockey team.

Chad was a self-employed exterior and interior painter.  He was a member of Sons of American Legion Eugene M. Connor Post 193.  An avid fan of the Boston Red Sox, New England Patriots and Boston Bruins, he enjoyed playing golf.  He treasured time with his family, nieces and nephews and watching his nephews play baseball and hockey.  Chad was fond of his late dog Winston.

In addition to his parents, he leaves a son, Reece M. LaPointe of Diamond Bar, CA; two brothers, Matthew LaPointe and wife Amy of Barre and Ryan LaPointe and partner Brian Pierce of Winchendon; four nieces and nephews and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Funeral services will be held Friday, January 7, 2022 at 11 A.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon.  Funeral services are streamed and may be viewed at: https://webcasts.lifetributes.com/1185670

Calling hours in the funeral home will be Thursday, January 6, 2022 from 4 to 7 P.M.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
