Charles D. "Dave" Couture

WINCHENDON – Charles D. “Dave” Couture, 86, of Winchendon, died peacefully Wednesday morning, May 18, 2022 in Alliance Health at Baldwinville, with his family at his side.

He was born in Winchendon on January 2, 1936, son of the late henry and Adelle (Locke) Couture and was a lifelong resident of Winchendon.

Dave had worked as a furniture sprayer at Standard Chair in Gardner and later worked for ten years in housekeeping at Heywood Hospital.  His hobby was hunting for golf balls.  His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his family.

His wife of 46 years, Candace (Piper) Couture, died in 2012.  He leaves five children, Maryann Leblanc, Lecia Shuster, Sharlene Goodwin, David M. Couture and Amy Farnsworth; several grandchildren and several great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
