WINCHENDON - Charles E. Merrill, 63, of 55 Colony Circle, Westfield, died Thursday, August 24th in the Noble Hospital, Westfield, following an illness. He was born in Winchendon on October 18,1942, the son of Edwin H. and Mae E. (Wellman) Merrill and had lived in Westfield for 16 years. Charles was affiliated with the Church of the Atonement in Westfield. He leaves two sisters, Helen E. Rushia of Gardner and Carolyn A. Laforce of Schnectady, N.Y.; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 29th at 12 P.M. Noon in the Snow-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. Deacon Paul J. Carrier will officiate. Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery, Winchendon. A calling hour will be held Tuesday from 11 A.M. to Noon, prior to the service.
