Christopher J. Beauvais

WINCHENDON – Christopher J. Beauvais, 53, of 22 Walnut Street, died Monday, February 18, 2019 in HealthAlliance Leominster Hospital.

He was born in Winchendon on May 19, 1965, son of Theresa N. (Lebel) Beauvais of Winchendon and the late Clifford P. Beauvais.  A lifelong resident of Winchendon, Chris was a 1983 graduate of Murdock High School.

Chris was a licensed insurance agent and was former president and co-owner of Clifford P. Beauvais Insurance Agency in Winchendon until 2012.  He enjoyed playing golf and had been a member of Winchendon Golf Club and Eugene M. Connor Post #193 Sons of the American Legion.  Chris had served at one time on the board of directors of Wendell P. Clark Memorial YMCA.

In addition to his mother, he leaves three children, Olivia L. Beauvais, Noah C. Beauvais and Owen C. Beauvais, and their mother Kelly Coolidge Beauvais, all of Winchendon; his sisters and brother, Linda Fenlanson and her husband James of Springfield, MA, Joyce M. Beauvais of Winchendon, James C. Beauvais and his wife Phyllis of Rindge, NH, Joanne B. Slavin and her husband Gary of Charlotte, NC and Lisa A. Beauvais of Winchendon as well as nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, March 2, 2019 at 11 A.M.in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 52 Spruce Street, Winchendon.  There are no calling hours.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Beauvais Children Education Fund, care of Athol Savings Bank, 112 Central Street, Winchendon, MA 01475.
