Clara A. (Barthelemy) Levesque

WINCHENDON – Clara A. (Barthelemy) Levesque, 75, of 129 Ipswich Drive, Winchendon died peacefully Sunday morning, March 24th in UMASS Medical Center, Worcester.

She was born in Somerville, MA on August 21, 1937, daughter of the late Lawrence and Eva (Bates) Barthelemy and had lived in Winchendon since 2004.

Clara was a graduate of Holton High School in Danvers with the Class of 1955.  She was a communicant of St. Vincent de Paul Church, Baldwinville.  In her spare time, she loved walking, reading and playing scrabble.  A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she especially treasured time with her family.

She leaves her husband, George E. Levesque; two sons, Raymond Levesque of Greenfield, NH and Michael Levesque of Arvada, Colorado; three daughters, Jeanine Gooch of Winchendon, Patricia LaBossiere of Scarboro, ME and Karen Florczak of Derry, NH; her brothers and sisters, Charles Barthelemy of Mountville, PA, Raymond Barthelemy of Lakeland, FL and Robert Barthelemy of Lakeland, FL; Margarite Abbott of Danvers, Dorothy Gaudet of Kingston, NH, Joan Chase of Methuen, Arlene Gallagher of Brownington, VT and Sandra Crowe of Parker, Colorado; 14 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.

A Memorial Service will be held Wednesday, March 27th at 12 Noon in St. Vincent de Paul Church, 1 Forest Street, Baldwinville.  Burial will be in Masachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon.
