GARDNER – Clarence I. Farrar Jr., 65, of 13 Leamy Street, Gardner, died at his residence Friday morning, August 2nd, with his family at his side.
H was born in Dummerston, Vermont on June 26, 1948, son of Clarence I and Dorothy Marie (Coullard) Farrar and grew up in Worcester and Fitchburg. For the last 32 years he had lived in Gardner.
Clarence had worked as a bus driver and diesel mechanic at Fred’s School Bus Co. in Winchendon for many years. He previously had been employed at Heritage Bus Co. His hobby was driving to any destination, local or far away. In his earlier years, he enjoyed bowling. Clarence found his greatest enjoyment spending time with family and attending family events.
He leaves two daughters, Brenda A. Duangsay and her husband Bounthavisouk of Gardner and Charlene D. Moore and her husband John of Ludlow, VT; two stepdaughters, Karen Brundage and her husband Joseph of Gardner and Nancy Spadjinske and her husband Beau of Troy, NH; a sister, Sheila Doust of Savannah, GA, 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandson. A brother, Frank Farrar, predeceased him.
A memorial service will be held at a later date. There are no calling hours.
