WINCHENDON – Clifton C. “Cliffy” Tatro, 75, of 69D Hyde Park Drive, Winchendon, died peacefully Tuesday morning, September 17th in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, University Campus, Worcester.
He was born in New Bedford, MA on August 12, 1938, son of the late Arthur L. and Alice L. (Reed) Tatro and had lived in Winchendon for over 30 years.
Cliffy had worked for 20 years as a steward at Massachusetts Maritime Academy until his retirement. He loved fishing, riding his bicycle and carrying on conversations with people.
He leaves a brother, Arthur L. Tatro Jr of Rindge, NH; a sister, Rhoda Jean Duvarney of Bellows Falls, VT, as well as 7 nieces and nephews. A brother, George Duval, preceded him in death.
Graveside services will be held Tuesday, September 24th at 1 P.M. in Riverside Cemetery, Winchendon.
