FITCHBURG – Craig R. Luoma, 62, of 20 Myrtle Ave Fitchburg, MA died Tuesday, April 10th in Health Alliance Hospital, Leominster.
He was born in Fitchburg on August 9, 1949, son of the late Robert and Joan (Henstridge) Luoma and lived in Westminster until 1985.
Craig was a 1967 graduate of Oakmont Regional High School and proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force with a rank of Sergeant E4 during the Vietnam War. He had worked as a machinist for General Electric. He will be remembered as a very kind hearted individual, who loved his family and friends. His past hobbies were fishing and hunting.
He leaves a brother, Steven J. Luoma and his wife Debra of Westminster: his two nephews; Christopher Luoma and his wife Jessica and Ethan Luoma and three nieces; Sarah Luoma, Robin Luoma, and Laura Luoma. He was predeceased by his mother, Joan Luoma and grandparents, George and Ann Henstridge.
A private military funeral service will be held in Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery,
Winchendon. There are no calling hours.
