HAMPTON BEACH, NH – Daniel R. Manley Sr, 71, of 12 Q Street, Hampton Beach, NH, died peacefully Tuesday April 5 th in West Roxbury Veterans Administration Hospital.

He was born in Brookline, MA on April 27, 1939, the son of Elizabeth (Mullen) Manley of Hampton Beach, NH and the late Leo F. Manley. For the last 28 years, he had resided in Hampton Beach.

Dan was a graduate of Arlington High School in Arlington, MA and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War as a Specialist 4 th Class in the United States Army. He was the former manager of the Hideaway Pub in Cambridge and worked for many years for Teamsters Local 25. He was a long-time member of the Elks, a fan of the Boston Red Sox and especially enjoyed spending time with his family.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by five children, 15 grandchildren; one brother Lawrence Manley and his wife Rita of Hampton, NH, one sister, Patrice Manley and her husband Brian Deane of Seabrook, NH, two nephews and two nieces.

Military funeral services will be held Friday, April 8 th at 12 Noon in the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon. The Rev. Francis A. Roberge will officiate.

There are no calling hours.
