David Meunier

GARDNER - David Meunier, 70, of 50 Pine Street, died unexpectedly Wednesday evening, March 7, 2018 in Heywood Hospital, Gardner.

He was born in Gardner on  February 9, 1948, son of Mary Lou (King) Meunier of Gardner and the late Bernard H. Meunier.  David grew up in Templeton and graduated from Notre Dame High School in Fitchburg and Marquette University.  He had lived in Seattle and Puerto Rico for many years and later lived in Florida until returning to Gardner 20 years ago.

David worked at Digital and Simplex Time Recorder for many years.  He enjoyed reading and gardening and especially enjoyed spending time near the ocean.  David had a love of literature and had a gift of writing.

In addition to his mother, he leaves his brothers and sisters, Richard Meunier and his wife Bonnie of Mendon, MA, Roland Meunier and his wife Pat of Templeton, Kevin Meunier of Fort Lauderdale, FL, Mary Curtis and her husband Richard of Templeton, Bernadette Arsenault and her husband Randy of Homer, Alaska, John Meunier and his husband Jim of Boston and Amy Jackson of Gardner and many nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his father Bernard, his brother Bernard Joseph and his dear friend Jean Paul.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.  There are no calling hours.
