WINCHENDON – David A. Rivers, 51, of Winchendon, died Thursday morning, September 15, 2022 in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, Worcester, University Campus.
He was born in Leominster on March 18, 1971, son of Rosemary (Parmenter) Blair of Winchendon and the late Gary Rivers. David grew up in Winchendon and lived here most of his life.
Dave worked at Garlock Printing as a maintenance mechanic. He was very devoted to his mother, providing love, support and personal care. His hobby was working on his truck, which was his pride and joy. Dave enjoyed cars, attending car shows and tinkering around the house and yard. He could fix anything.
He was the husband of the late Priscilla (Sullivan) Rivers. In addition to his mother, he leaves his brother, Robert Rivers of Rindge, NH; two sisters, Pamela Randall of Chattanooga, TN and Amy Nguon of Winchendon; his close friend, Elizabeth Hill of Winchendon and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a brother, Gary Rivers and his step father, Everett C. “Jim” Blair Jr.
Funeral services will be Thursday, September 22, 2022 at 10:30 A.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. A calling hour will precede the service Thursday from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M.
Burial will in Riverside Cemetery.
