WINCHENDON – David A. Miller, 74, of Winchendon died Wednesday, December 2, 2020 in Heywood Hospital after a long illness. Dave was born on July 17, 1946.
Dave was a member of the United States Air Force. After college, Dave worked many years as a computer specialist in Massachusetts and New Hampshire.
Dave was an avid horse and cat lover. He spent many hours trail riding on his horses, sometimes taking a lunch out with him and, of course, treats for the horse. His animals never wanted for anything, they always came first. He also enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Dave was a very generous man. He spent most holidays with Jim and Sandi MacPherson and their family, and the horses, at the farm in Troy, NH. Dave was happiest at the farm (Timber Trails) owned by Jim and Sandi.
Dave had very few relatives, one cousin and two nieces. He is survived by his horse Sandy, who will remain at the farm in Troy, and his two cats, Treasure and Tigger, who will be adopted.
There will be no services held until later. There will be a Memorial Service at Timber Trails, when Covid has settled down and people can get together safely. At that time, Dave will be remembered by all his friends, and his ashes will be spread around the farm.
