WINCHENDON – David P. Gauthier, 72, of 96 Highland Street, died peacefully Thursday evening, September 17th in Rose Monahan Hospice Home, Worcester.
He was born in Winchendon on September 20, 1942, son of the late Napoleon and Elizabeth (Girouard) Gauthier. He graduated from Murdock High School and was a resident of Winchendon for most of his life.
Dave worked as a printer at Simplex Time Recorder for many years and later worked at the former Templeton Developmental Center, Baldwinville. He enjoyed playing golf and watching all sports, especially the Boston Red Sox, golf, and Notre Dame football. Dave was an avid New York Giants fan. He especially treasured time with his family.
He leaves two children, Jody D. Gauthier and his wife Janis of Pulaski, NY and Suzanne M. Gauthier of Millbury; a sister, Gail O’Malley of Athol and three grandchildren, Gabriel Gauthier, Nathan Gauthier and Leah Dufrane.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, September 23rd at 11 A.M. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 52 Spruce Street. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
Calling hours in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, are Wednesday, September 23rd from 9 to 10:30 A.M. preceding the mass.
