WINCHENDON – Diana R. (Stowell) Donovan, 45, of 47 Monadnock Avenue, died peacefully Tuesday morning, June 17th in Keystone Center, Leominster.
She was born in Keene, NH on October 17, 1968, daughter of the late William and Nancy (Florence) Stowell. A resident of Winchendon for most of her life, Diana was a 1986 graduate of Murdock High School. In 1998, she moved to Arizona and returned to this area in January of this year.
Diana was the most loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, grandmother, great aunt and friend. She loved all of her nieces and nephews as much as she loved her own two children. She enjoyed silversmithing and rock hounding and loved learning about Native American heritage.
She leaves two children Zachary Donovan and Jacob Donovan, both of Kingman, AZ; a grandson Connor Donovan; two sisters, Shelly Newton of Winchendon and Karen Trombly of Winchendon and ten nieces and nephews. A brother, William Stowell Jr. preceded her in death.
In accordance with her wishes, Diana donated her body for anatomical research to Harvard Medical School, Boston. A gathering of family and friends will be held after her research is complete.
