Diane Lea Chapman, aged 88, of Ashburnham, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully on May 19, 2024. Born on August 8, 1935, in Fitchburg, MA, Diane was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother and great-grandmother, and a respected member of her community. Diane spent her working life serving the young minds of her community as a teacher's aide at the local elementary school. She retired from the Ashburnham - Westminster School District in 1993, after years of dedicated service. Throughout her life, Diane held family as the most important aspect of her life. Her love, warmth, and dedication will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate to know her.

Diane is survived by her husband of 69 years, Richard Chapman, and her family; Sue and Andy Caouette, Sally and Chuck Wiley, Sandy and Gary Kwasniowski, and Thomas and Suann Chapman. Her legacy is further carried on by her beloved grandchildren; Rachel and Jamie Collins, Elizabeth and Garrett Nelson, Alison and Justin Cox, John and Pam Mack, Michael Chapman, Hannah Chapman, and Kathleen Chapman. The joy of her life were her great-grandchildren; Mckenna Nelson, Maycee Robinson, Brennan Nelson, Nolan Cox, Benjamin Mack, Finlee Mack, Natalie Cox, and Madison Mack. She also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Services will be private.
