Doris Lafreniere

WINCHENDON - Doris A. (McAllister) Lafreniere,86, died Thursday, September 22, 2022 at Leominster Crossing in Leominster.

She was born in Winchendon on June 13, 1936, a daughter of the late Freddie McAllister and Josephine (Mello)McAllister.

Doris graduated from Murdock High School with the Class of 1954.  She was employed in the Cafeteria at Toy Town Elementary for many years.

Doris was a member of United Parish Church in Winchendon and the Clark YMCA.  She was an avid bowler in her younger years and enjoyed knitting mittens and loved animals.

Doris is survived by her husband, Anthony Lafreniere; by six children, Candy Lafreniere and her partner, Dennis Daly of Lowell; Brenda Fitzgerald and her husband John of Severn, Maryland, Sherry Lafreniere and her partner, Warren Field of Winchendon, Anthony Lafreniere Jr. and his wife Heather of North Attleboro, Todd Lafreniere and his wife Cyndee of Baldwinville, Rhonda Robichaud and her husband James of Farmville, VA; two brothers, Richard McAllister of Winchendon, Freddie McAllister of Great Barrington, MA; a sister, Marion Boutelle of Holden; ten grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. 

Funeral services will be private.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations in Doris's memory be made to St. Jude's Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105 .
