WARMINSTER, PA – Elaine M. Keleher, 96, of Warminster, PA, died peacefully on February 17, 2022.
Elaine was born to the late Edwin Newton and Helene (Goyette) Newton in Worcester on May 27, 1925. She lived in Worcester and Winchendon, MA before moving to Washington DC during World War 2 to work on behalf of the war effort. It was there that she met her beloved husband, Edwin Keleher. They were married for 57 years until Edwin’s death in 2005.
Elaine lived in Radmor, PA for 60 years and was active in St. Katharine of Siena Parish as well as numerous charities and organizations including the Girl Scouts and Meals on Wheels. She loved spending time with her family and friends, traveling, reading and playing bridge.
She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Sarosky of Furlong, PA, her grandchildren, Sharon Fry and husband Kyle of Bedford, NY and David Sarosky of Bridgeport, PA and her great-grandchildren John and William Fry of Bedford, NY. In addition to her husband, Elaine was preceded in death by her brother Donald Newton.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 11 AM in Calvary Cemetery, Glenallen Street, Winchendon.
