Eleanor M. Meserve

GARDNER - Eleanor M. (Wilder) Meserve, 82, of 435 Clark Street, Gardner, died Tuesday, October 3rd in Heywood Hospital, Gardner. She was born in East Templeton on October 18,1923, the daughter of Arthur F. and Sadie L. (Moore) Wilder and had lived in Gardner for many years. Eleanor was a wrapper at Gem Industries in Gardner for many years until her retirement in 1979. Educated in Templeton schools, she was a former member of the East Templeton United Methodist Church. Her husband, Lenville M. Meserve, died in 2004. She leaves a brother, George H. Wilder of East Templeton, as well as several nephews and nieces, great nephews and great nieces. She was predeceased by two brothers, Richard Wilder and Kenneth Wilder and four sisters, Norma Fournier, Elizabeth Ann Wilder, Helen Denyour and Doris Grabowski. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 6th at 2 P.M. in the Snow-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. The Rev. Stephanie Flynn will officiate. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Gardner. Calling hours in the funeral home will be Friday from 1 to 2 P.M. before the funeral service.
