Ellen M. (MacMillan) Marcello

WESTMINSTER – Ellen M. (MacMillan) Marcello, 84, of 36 Edro Isle, Westminster, formerly of Leominster, Fitzwilliam, NH and Spring Hill, Florida, died peacefully Sunday morning, October 9 th in Golden Living Center, Fitchburg.
She was born in Fitchburg on November 28, 1926, the daughter of the late Alex and Margaret (McBride) MacMillan and was a resident of Leominster for most of her life. She also lived previously in Fitzwilliam, NH and Spring Hill, FL.
Ellen enjoyed camping, playing bingo, and mostly enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. She was a member of the Templeton Fish and Game Club and the Congregational Church of Christ in North Leominster.
Her husband of 60 years, Guido Guy Marcello, died in 2007. She leaves five children, Dennis A. Marcello and his wife Jane of Leominster, Lawrence Marcello and his wife Bertha of Fitchburg, Joanne Therrien and her husband Arthur of Westminster, Robert Marcello and his wife Donna of Leominster and Patricia A. Posco and her husband Anthony of Leominster, many grandchildren, many great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. A grandson, Matthew J. Therrien; a daughter-in-law, Donna Marcello; two brothers, John MacMillan and Thomas MacMillan, and three sisters, Alexandria McMilleon, Mary Burpee and Kathleen MacMillan, predeceased her.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 14 th at 10 A.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. The Rev. Robert Johansen will officiate. A calling hour from 9 to 10 A.M. Friday will precede the funeral service.
Burial will be in Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon.
