NEWPORT NEWS, VA. - Ernest J. LaFreniere, 52, of 526 Pineland Circle #202, Newport News, VA. and formerly of Winchendon, died unexpectedly Wednesday, December 27th at his residence. He was born in Winchendon on January 18,1954, the son of Ernest M. and Ethel L. (Chisamore) LaFreniere and had lived in Newport News for 15 years. Ernest worked as a taxi driver. He attended Murdock High School and later received his GED. He leaves two brothers, Michael J. LaFreniere and James P. LaFreniere, both of Athol; four sisters, Judith A. Knight of Rindge, N.H., Vickie L. Morin of Winchendon, Jeanne T. Cooper of Athol and Mary E. Reilly of Antrim, N.H., as well as several aunts, uncles, nephews and nieces. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Friday, January 5th,2007 in Bethany Bible Chapel, 727 Spring Street, Winchendon. The Rev. Paul H. Stenstrom will officiate. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Winchendon. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wendell P.
