Eugene E. Raymond

APOLLO BEACH, FL. – Eugene E. Raymond, 61, formerly of Winchendon, died March 30th in Ruskin, FL among family and friends.

He was born in Winchendon on July 24, 1950, son of the late Maurice Raymond and Elizabeth (Gauthier) Raymond and lived here until the age of 16.  After his graduation from Monadnock Regional High School in Swanzey, NH, he entered the Marine Corps, serving from 1968 to 1972 in Vietnam.  Eugene enjoyed camping, fishing and his grandchildren.

He leaves his loving wife of 25 years, Belle (Grosskopf) Raymond; two sons, Robert Raymond and Michael Roberts and his wife Arielle and four children Vincent, Benjamin, Nora and Clare; two sisters, Diana Belletete and husband Leo of Troy, NH and Marsha Hill and husband Frank of Kinston, NC; nieces Lynn and Ashley; nephews, John and Todd; sisters-in-law, Donna Zohtoside of Denver, IN and Ann Henry of St. Augustine, FL; mother-in-law Mary Ann Grosskopf of St. Augustine, FL; his best friend Steve Bolen and many cousins.

Burial was in Bay Pines Veterans Cemetery, St. Petersburg, FL.
