Evelyn L. Thoin

WINCHENDON - Evelyn L. Thoin, 88, of 23 Elmwood Road, Winchendon, died early Thursday, November 30th in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, following an illness. She was born in Winchendon on March 24,1918, the daughter of Homer and Alma (St. Pierre) Thoin and was a lifelong resident. Evelyn was a graduate of Murdock High School with the Class of 1936 and was employed as a bookkeeper at Level Manufacturing for many years before her retirement. She was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and enjoyed reading. Evelyn leaves a brother, Roland Thoin of Jaffrey, N.H.; several nephews and nieces and many dear friends. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 4th from the Snow-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 52 Spruce Street. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery. A calling hour will be held in the funeral home, Monday, December 4th from 8:30 to 9:30 A.M.
