Fernande M. (Lemelin) Prevost

WINCHENDON - Fernande M. (Lemelin) Prevost, 83, of 85 High Street, Winchendon, died Tuesday evening, November 28th in the Wachusett Manor Nursing Home, Gardner, following an illness. Her husband of 58 years, Alfred J. Prevost, died in 2005. Fernande was born in Lawrence, MA. on May 17,1923, the daughter of Victor and Victoria B. (Laroche) Lemelin and had lived in Winchendon for 54 years. She was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church and enjoyed church functions. Fernande leaves two sons, Roger M. Prevost of Winchendon and Stephen V. Prevost of Leominster; two daughters, Joanne M. Kallio of Winchendon and Dianne N. Peterson of Amherst, N.H.; a brother, Richard Lemelin of Salem, N.H.; eight grandchildren, two great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a son, Alfred R. Prevost, in 1982. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 2nd from the Snow-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 52 Spruce Street, Winchendon. Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours in the funeral home will be Friday, December 1st from 6 to 8 P.M.
