LEOMINSTER - Florence R. (Lavallee) Renaud, 86, of 130 North Main Street, Leominster, died peacefully Sunday morning, March 14th, surrounded by her loving family in HealthAlliance Hospital, Leominster Campus. She was born in Indian Orchard, MA on June 23,1923, the daughter of the late Achille and Eva (Guay) Lavallee and had lived in Leominster for over 50 years. Florence worked as a tape operator for 20 years at Mohawk Wire in Leominster until her retirement. She was a member of St. Leo's Church. Florence was an avid bingo player. She also enjoyed bowling and bowled for many years in Putnam Bowling Lanes in Fitchburg, where she participated in many bowling tournaments. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family and especially her two great grandchildren. She leaves her husband of 62 years, Wilfred W. Renaud; one son Denis W. Renaud and his wife Susan of Winchendon; two grandchildren, Michele Renaud of Winchendon and Craig Renaud of Leominster; two great grandchildren Alia and Jayke LeBlanc and several nephews and nieces. Two brothers, Ernest Lavallee and Aldore Lavallee predeceased her. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, March 17th at 10 A.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. The Rev. Francis A. Roberge will officiate. Burial will be in the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon. There are no calling hours.
