Frances A. Dias

ROYALSTON – Frances A. (Tobin) Dias, 76, of 53 Bliss Hill Road, died peacefully Sunday morning, November 28, 2021 in Heywood Hospital Gardner.

She was born in Boston on July 14, 1945, daughter of the late George and Mildred (Fargrave) Tobin and grew up in Somerville.  Frances had lived in Royalston for 14 years after living in Billerica and Rindge, NH.

Frances had worked for ten years at Mitre Corporation in Bedford, MA as a janitress and later cleaned houses in the local area.  An avid bingo player, she also enjoyed going to Foxwoods as well as Salisbury Beach, Hampton Beach and Cape Cod.

Her husband of 54 years, Paul W. Dias, died in 2018.  She leaves four sons, Brian Dias and his significant other, Paula Gonynor of Winchendon, William P. Dias of Mount Vernon, NH, Paul W. Dias Jr and wife Sandra of Shalimar, FL and Hank Holden and wife Krystal of Victor, NY; a half-brother Jack Wilson of Uxbridge; four grandchildren and several great grandchildren.  A brother, John Wilson, preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 3, 2021 at 10 A.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon.  Burial will be in Stewart Maple Cemetery, Royalston.  Services will be streamed and viewed at https://webcasts.lifetributes.com/1178782
