Francis A. "Sharpy" Lorion

WINCHENDON - Francis A. "Sharpy" Lorion, 84, of 73 Hyde Park Drive, Winchendon died early Tuesday, January 10th in the Wachusett Manor Nursing Home, Gardner after an illness. He was born in Winchendon on September 13,1921, the son of Arthur and Diana (Lemire) Lorion and was a lifelong resident. Sharpy was an assembler at Simplex Time Recorder Company for 25 years before retiring in 1984. He was a communicant of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, and enjoyed playing pool. He leaves his wife of 24 years, Helen M. (Brzoska) Lorion; a brother, Maurice J. Lorion of Gardner; a sister, Pauline R. Alger of South Royalston and several nieces and nephews. A private funeral service will be held in the Snow-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street. The Rev. Roland L. Gamache, pastor of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, will officiate. Burial will take place in St. Joseph's Cemetery, Gardner in the spring. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Winchendon EMT Ambulance Fund, P.O.
