Gail A. Donaway

WINCHENDON – Gail A. Robideau) Donaway, 78, of Winchendon, died peacefully Wednesday, June 1, 2022 in Heywood Hospital, Gardner.

She was born in Marlboro, MA on November 29, 1943, daughter of the late George and Gladys (Whitmore) Robideau and lived in Winchendon 60 years.

Gail worked at Harrington Richardson for many years as an assembler until her retirement in 2008.  She was an active member of Cornerstone Church of Assemblies of God in Winchendon.  Her greatest enjoyment was spending time and babysitting her grandchildren and great grandchildren.  She had earned her GED from Mount Wachusett Community College.

Her husband of 49 years, Kenneth M. Donaway, died in 2012.  She leaves a son, Kenneth M. Donaway Jr and his wife Laurie of Orange; two brothers, George Robideau Jr of Athol and James Robideau of Athol; one sister, Karen Leggio of FL; four grandchildren, Jonathan Lema Jr, Joshua Lema, Patrick Donaway and Hayley Donaway; 4 great grandchildren, Alivia Lema, Landon Lema, Lincoln Lema and Jeremyah Lema and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Sally Lema, two sisters, Judith Gauthier and Nancy Young and a brother, William Robideau.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 6, 2022 at 11 A.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon.  Funeral services may be viewed at the following link: https://webcasts.lifetributes.com/1214257

A calling hour will precede the funeral Monday from 10 to 11 A.M.

Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery.
