TEMPLETON – George P. Paul, 85, of Templeton, died peacefully Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at his residence, with his family at his side.

He was born in Lancaster, MA on May 3, 1938, son of the late Alfred and Mary Ann (Draleau) Paul and was a resident of Templeton for most of his life.

George had worked as a truck driver and construction worker for many years.  He enjoyed collecting many items and gardening at his home.  He also enjoyed raising animals.  George will be remembered as a kind man, who would give the shirt off his back to family and friends.

His wife of 53 years, Kathleen A. (Lombard) Paul, died in 2015.  He leaves four children, Robin Martin of Templeton, George P. Paul Jr. and wife Lorraine of Albuquerque, NM, Kelly Cosentino of Burlington, NC and Tracey Paul of Worcester; five grandchildren, Jennifer Martin, Michael Cormier and wife Jessica, Stephanie Finn and husband Joseph, Kyle Paul and the late Geoffrey Richards; seven great grandchildren, Joseph II, Dominik, Sophia, Nickolas, Aryanna, Jacolby and Jordon and many nieces and nephews.  Born in to a large family, George was predeceased by his many brothers and sisters.

Calling hours in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon are Thursday, June 8, 2023 from 5 to 7 P.M.
