ASHBURNHAM – Glenn A. Greenwood, 57, of 242 Old Gardner Road, died peacefully Monday afternoon, March 23rd at his residence.
He was born in Waltham on December 23, 1957, son of Allan K. and Shirley (Harrington) Greenwood of Templeton and was a 1976 graduate of Narragansett Regional High School, Baldwinville.
Glenn had worked as a pipe welder or 20 years at General Electric until a few years ago. He built his home in Ashburnham 25 years ago and enjoyed working with his hands and cutting wood. In his youth, he enjoyed working at his Grandmother Harrington’s farm in South Royalston. Glenn also enjoyed riding motorcycles.
In addition to his parents, he leaves a son, Samuel E. Greenwood of Ashburnham; a brother, Kevin Greenwood and his wife Lisa of Gardner and a sister, Linda Gough and her husband Wayne of Gardner.
Private funeral services will be held in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. There are no calling hours.
Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Baldwinville at a later date.
