WINCHENDON – Gloria (Clough) Eddy, 81, of Winchendon, died peacefully Sunday evening, January 22, 2023 in Alliance Health at Baldwinville.
She was born in Montague on September 16, 1941, daughter of the late Charles and Ellen (Williams) Clough and was a graduate of Pioneer Valley High School in Northfield. She and her late husband had been residents of Winchendon for nearly 50 years.
Gloria had worked as a CNA at Gardner Manor Nursing Home for 20 years as well as Greenfield Hospital and other nursing facilities. Her hobbies were sewing, knitting, reading and doing crossword puzzles. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family.
Her husband of 62 years, Donald R. Eddy Sr., died in 2022. She leaves three children, Jeffrey A. Eddy and his wife Tracy, Charles F. Eddy and Rebecca G. Harmon and her significant other Robert Carolis, all of Winchendon; her brothers and sisters, Warren Clough of Orange, Marilyn Remillard of No. Hampton, Gerald Clough of Bernardston and Pamela Blynn of Leverett; ten grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and one great great grandson. She was preceded in death by a son, Donald R. Eddy Jr, a great grandson, Jayden Atwood and a brother, Dale Clough.
Calling hours in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon are Thursday, January 26, 2023 from 5 to 7 P.M.
Graveside services will be held in the spring in Riverside Cemetery, Winchendon.
