Gloria F Moylan

WINCHENDON – Gloria F. (Tenney) Moylan, 88, of Winchendon, died peacefully January 29,2023 at her residence, with her family at her side.

She was born in Winchendon on August 31, 1934, the daughter of the late Reginald K and Alma (Nelson) Tenney.  Gloria lived in Winchendon her entire life.

Gloria worked as furniture worker at various furniture companies, Clapp Furniture, Phoenix Industries, Dionne’s Furniture and Ipswich Industries, until her retirement.  She enjoyed household chores and flower gardening.  A lover of the ocean, she particularly enjoyed time spent in Ocean Park, Maine.  She attended Cornerstone Church Assemblies of God.  Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family.

 Her husband, John F. Moylan, died in 1999.  She leaves two children, John F. Moylan II and his wife Sheryl of Woodbury, CT and Kathy Jalbert and her husband Jacques of Winchendon; two sisters, Nancy Lillie and Carol Murphy of Winchendon; five grandchildren, Brianna Santora and husband Joseph, Lindsey Moylan and John F. Moylan III, Todd Jalbert and Jared Jalbert and his wife Brandi; one great grandson Robert Barrett White and several nieces and nephews.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Richard Tenney, Frederick Tenney and Robert Tenney, and two sisters, Elizabeth Duval and Ruth Tenney.

Calling hours in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, will be held on March 2, 2023 from 5 to 7 P.M.

Funeral services will be held in Cornerstone Church Assemblies of God, 122 Gardner Road, Winchendon on March 3, 2023 at 11:30 A.M.

Burial will follow in Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery.
