WINCHENDON – Gloria A. (Roy) Bourgault, 84, of 547 Central Street, Winchendon, died peacefully Tuesday afternoon, December 17th, in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, with her family at her side.
She was born in Winchendon on December 5, 1929, daughter of the late Wilfred and Mildred E. (Boisvert) Roy and was a lifelong resident of Winchendon.
Gloria worked as a machine operator at New Hampshire Ball Bearings for 30 years until her retirement in 1989. She was a member of Winchendon Golden Age Club and Lt. Frederick Wilder White Post 2158 VFW Auxiliary. Her hobbies were playing cards and bingo. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family.
Her husband of 42 years, Richard H. Bourgault, died in 1991. She leaves two daughters, Dianne M. Blair and her husband Donald of Winchendon and Cheryl A. Fournier and her husband Dennis of New Ipswich, NH; five grandchildren, Derek Blair of Winchendon, Chad Blair of Winchendon, Eric Jonilionis of Merrimack, NH, Ryan Jonilionis of Greenville, NH and Shawn Fournier of Jaffrey, NH, seven great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. A brother, Donald P. Roy and a sister, Lorraine E. Courtemanche, predeceased her.
Funeral services will be held Friday, December 20, 2013 at 11 A.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. A calling hour from 10 to 11 A.M. Friday will precede the funeral service.
